Your Twitter profile will change tomorrow – you have no say in this
Those of you who are bang up to date with all that is Twitter will know that the micro-blogging site introduced a new design for profiles with a header back in September. Back then it was optional – not for long!
A few months ago Twitter took upon itself to redesign your profile header so that it followed Facebook’s Timeline trend.
The good thing is that the move was optional and, for people like me, left it for us to change up when we get around to it.
Starting December 12th (tomorrow) your profile will be converted to the new design whether you do anything about it or not.
“On December 12, we’re rolling this out to all users: you’ll automatically get this new version of the profile on twitter.com. If you don’t upload a header photo by then, you (and everyone else) will only see a default grey image on your page. That’s not fun! To get inspired about what you can do, check out this video to see how to make your profile a little more “you”, less generic. Have fun out there.”
I guess it’s time that GadgetyNews got tweaked over on Twitter then…
To add a header just click: Cog icon –> Settings –> Profile –> Change Header 🙂
