Xbox One will NOT come with bundled headset in UK

Yesterday I reported about the change of mind Microsoft had regarding whether or not to include headphones in with the Xbox One bundle. It seems that I got excited over nothing.

Originally it was said that the Xbox One would come without headphones, but these could be purchased separately.

Yesterday, however, it was claimed that Microsoft’s UK product distributor confirmed the inclusion of a headset and this news quickly spread about the interwebs.

The Official Xbox360 Mag since tweeted:

Also, MCV confirmed that the Xbox One will not include a bundled headset, before saying that the source changed their statement to “no comment.”

Gah!

Does anyone know if the headset will appear in an Xbox One bundle elsewhere?
