Use Your Android G1 as a Metal Detector! True!

With Cupcake apparently flying through the air I thought I’d report on another “great” thing to happen to G1’s.

Apparently the built-in compass of the G1 can be used as a metal detector – not a very powerful one by the looks of things but it does work.

So, if you can’t see those keys that are right next to your phone……………

Perhaps this might impress friends in the pub.
