Sony’s X Series Touchscreen Walkman – All You Need To Know About That OLED

sony_x_seriesSony’s X-series Walkman is due to bounce onto the seen this month – and to quell your anticipation for a little while have a gander.

For those of you unaware of Sony’s touchscreen lovely I’ll quickly go through the details.

The NW-X1000 series, or X-series,will be available with 16 GB or 32 GB NW-X1060, have a 3-inch OLED touchscreen, Wi-Fi, YouTube support, and a noise cancellation feature.

Of course, these new Walkman’s will play a variety of audio files: MP3/HE-AAC/AAC/WMA/linear PCM/ATRAC/ATRAC Advanced Lossless, and video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and MPEG-4/WMV formats.

It is much smaller than the iPod touch, measuring 97.4×52.5×10.5mm – have a goosey at the pic below in the gallery.

The OLED touchscreen has a 240×432 resolution, while the iPod touch has a 480×320-pixel resolution.
