Sharp RW-T110 Professional Android Tablet Packs NFC and More

Sharp RW-T110 Gingerbread TabletSharp has quietly announced its entrant in to the world of Android tablets with its RW-T110 slate.

Sharp may not be a familiar name in the computing and communicating marketplace but it is an old hand when it comes to commercial electronics.

The Sharp RW-T110 Android Tablet is powered by a T1 OMAP processor and is packing 1GB RAM and 8GB storage under its 10.1-inch 1280×800 resolution display.

It also has contactless cleverness built-in as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, GPS, and more.

The Android 2.3 Gingerbread touting RW-T110 is designed for professionals, which explains the architectural drawing in the picture I guess.

Ice Cream Sandwich may have been the way to go Sharp! 😉

I don’t know it it will land in the UK or how much it would cost as I can only seem to find it on Japanese sites at the moment. It will be unleashed in Japan on March 27th but I can’t see people queuing up for this underpowered tablet – unless it is remarkably cheap to be honest.
