Sharp IS03 Has iPhone 4 Retina Display Taunting Screen

Another Android handset – this time Sharp’s IS03 is set to take on the iPhone with its 960 x 640 res, 3.5″ screen – that’s enough to put the frighteners on the iPhone 4’s damned sexy Retina Display.

Then the Sharp IS03 sucker punches the fruity one with the left-right of 9.6MP camera and a TV tuner. OOoOoOoo… that’s gotta hurt!

Powering the IS03 is the usual 1Ghz Snapdragon processor running Android 2.1 and features an Osaifu-Keitai e-wallet (for swipe payments), 1seg digital TV and a business card reader.

It’ll be available on Japan’s KDDI au network soon and word is out that it may venture closer to Europe.
