Samsung Series 7 Sliding Laptop Tablet Convertible now on Amazon

Remember way back at the start of this year Samsung first showed off its neat looking TX100 Series 7 convertible laptop tablet? Well, looks like it will be available to buy soon!

Even though Sammy hasn’t yet announced the new release date the sliding convertible X100 has appeared on Amazon for pre-ordering.

The initial release date was March but, along with everything else planned to pack Intel’s Oak Trail Atom Z670, that date has had to slide. The good news is that Oak Trail is now being shipped so expect a slew of new processor packing tech! 🙂

The Samsung 7 Series slider is listed with everything I reported back in January. The Samsung XE700Z0A-A01US that appears on Amazon weighs 2.2-pounds and is equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen with 1366 x 768-res, dual front and rear cameras (1.3 and 3.0 megapixels), a 32GB SSD, 2GB of RAM and that Intel 1.5GHz Atom Oak Trail Z670 processor.

The Series 7 netvertible runs on Windows 7 Home Premium and will hook up to the interwebs via inbuilt 802.11b/g/n WiFi.

There was talk at launch of 3G and WiMax being baked-in and a nine hour battery but none of those features are on the menu on Amazon.

What Amazon does mention is that it will cost you $649 handing you a $50 saving.
