Samsung Gear A Tizen smartwatch appears at event
Whilst we’re waiting for the Samsung Unpacked event that happens in a few weeks, Samsung has revealed some details about its new Samsung Gear A smartwatch at its Tizen Developer summit today.
The last Samsung smartwatch I wrote about was the Samsung Gear 2 Solo, back in May last year.
It’s about time for a new wearable from Sammy and the rumours about the new Samsung Gear A smartwatch, aka Orbis (not this one), would feature a circular display and now the company has confirmed that it will come with a rotating bezel ring.
The Samsung Gear A smartwatch is rumored to come with a dual core Exynos 3472 dual-core processor and 768MB of RAM and will be equipped with 4GB of built in storage and a 250 mAh battery.
Other specifications include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and a display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and that rotating bezel ring which is likely to aid navigation. There might also be a crown-shaped power button.
Samsung’s press event for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus happens on August 13th and the new Gear A could be joining them.
