Roots Rock iPhone BoomBox Jammin from House of Marley
I’m really digging this new boombox and not just because the Roots Rock is endorsed by the Marley family.
This iPhone lovin’ ghetto blaster comes with a canvas strap and several useful stash cargo pockets.
This would be very cool to take to a beach or a festival (depending on how secure your pitch is). Chill out, kick back, sling your iPhone on shuffle and enjoy the dual 4-inch speakers and dedicated tweeter bouncing out your choice of fat dub reggae, electronica or rock for that matter.
Green bonus is that it’s constructed from recycled plastic. Karmic bonus is that part of the proceeds from the House of Marley audio line will go towards the family’s 1Love charitable foundation.
If you’re lucky enough to be in Vegas why not groove over to The House of Marley, Booth # 7917, Central Hall where you can check out the three collections — Jammin’, Freedom, and Destiny which feature earbuds, headphones, docking stations, speakers and boom boxes. Suggested retail prices range from $29.99 to $499.99 and are said to offer “superior audio products for young gongs to conscious connoisseurs.â€
At CES, attendees can try out the gear by listening to tracks from the not-yet-released new album, Bob Marley & The Wailers-Live Forever: The Stanley Theatre, featuring Bob’s last live show before his passing. The album is being released on Feb. 1. On Jan 6, 7 and 8, there will be jam sessions by the next generation of “young gongs,” – Bob’s grandchildren! – Daniel, Josef and Frederick Marley. Starting around 5pm. Also, various members of the Marley family will be at the booth each day of CES.
Check the House of Marley site for the rastatastic headphones, earphones, iPod/iPhone dock an’ ting virtually.
