PlayStation Plus Members get Cloud Storage

Sony has announced that all you PlayStation Plus members now have access to online storage from right now.

This sounds like a great way to backup your videos, music and photos but before you non-members rush off to get in on the Sony PlayStation cloud action – it might be worth noting that you only get 150MB of storage to play with and you have to wait 24 hours before getting access to any copy protected game data you’ve slung up into the cloud on another PS3.

Sony reckons that 150 meg is enough storage for up to 1,000 game saves. Hmmm….

PlayStation Plus also offers access to exclusive demos and other PlayStation-related goodies and costs £39.99 a year or £11.99 for 90 days.

Is 150MB of storage enough to convince you to join?

Let me know your thoughts 🙂
