Orange OPC Guitar Combo Studio – Upgraded And Now Shipping to UK

I’ve have kept you gadgety faithful up-to-date with the progress of the neat OPC from Orange and now here’s the latest.

The musician-centric personal computer amp, cab combo has been upgraded and is ready for pre-order from the new Orange website and will land in the UK by the end of April – the OPC will be shipping outside the UK shortly after.

Since the OPC’s record-breaking appearance at CES the Orange PC spec now features the 2nd Generation Intel Core series i3-2100 CPU (3M Cache, 3.10 GHz). This new platform uses less power and has vastly superior integrated graphics and power making it better for audio processing. Further improvements announced today include 1 VGA and 2 HDMI ports as well as a precision cut laser aluminium chassis.

The groovy looking OPC is the first computer to have built-in high powered speakers and is designed for musicians and songwriters – giving them a compact one stop playing, recording, editing and computing workstation that’s already pre-loaded with premium software.

The Orange PC comes with well over Â£700/$1000 of premium software, including the following packages:

The OPC retail price is Â£1020 + VAT (Â£1224 inc) with free delivery and can be ordered from the new website.
