OnePlus Two smartphone specs and price leaked
Things are building up for the OnePlus One’s sequel and we all know that this means leaked specs!
If you can recall, the OnePlus One was billed as the flagship phone killer and, partially due to its bizarre marketing (having to be invited to join the pre-order queue was just one part), was one of the phones most chatted about.
A European phone site has published a listing for a phone known as the ‘OnePlus Two’, along with a list of hardware specifications.
It seems that the OnePlus Two follows its predecessors trend for packing in as much top-level specs as possible. According to the site, the Two will pack a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, a Snapdragon 805 (2.7GHz quad-core) processor, 32GB of storage space, a 16MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and a 3,300 mAh battery.
Sadly there’s still no mention of one of the things which the OnePlus One was missing, a microSD card slot.
Adding to this list an unnamed source has claimed that the OnePlus Two will be far more customisable than the original One.
It’s strange to see the OnePlus Two already appearing on retail sites as there’s still a bunch of people who still haven’t been able to get their hands on the One yet. It’s also not expected until sometime in Q3 of next year, and the $552 (£352) price does seem rather high. As the low price is probably the aspect people like most about the OnePlus One, this may all point to this listing being just a placeholder.
Another thing to note is that the listing has three different devices in the picture – a tablet, a phone/phablet, and a compact phone. Considering there is no evidence from the folks at OnePlus, the picture actually makes me a bit suspicious of the rest of the information present.
Stay tuned for more news as I get it 🙂
