O2 Shows Some Customer Loyalty – iPhone 4 Only Available to Current Customers

After leaving a bad taste in our mouths O2 appears to be showing its caring side.

O2 has posted a note up on its website pointing out that stocks of Apple’s iPhone 4 will be “extremely limited” in the UK when it launches here on the 24th and warns that some customers will experience delays in getting theirs.

Instead of doing the usual first-come-first-served queueing system (yeah, there’s already someone in America camped out for iPhone 4 day!) O2 have decided to make the new iPhones exclusively available to existing O2 customers in the first instance.

So, if you fancy an iPhone 4 and have been using O2 for their mobile, mobile broadband, home broadband or home phone services since at the latest 24th May this year then you’re in luck.

You’ll have to go into an O2 store as the new Apple handset wont appear on O2’s site to buy til July.
