None-more Black

DarkestDarkA scientist at Rice University has managed to create the world’s darkest material ever.  This was acheived with pure carbon nanotubes, thus reflecting only .045% of all light shined on it.

To put that into real terms; it’s 100 times darker than the darkest paint on the darkest car.

As well as being darned clever this stuff is also useful due to its ridiculous light absorption properties it would be great for solar panels.
