Nokia Soon Implanting Their Phones – Handset Becomes Hand

Ooooo…. if you’ve ever misplaced your mobile those days are soon to be over as your phone will be a part of you!

Nokia is working with the boffins at the University of Cambridge to eventually make your handset your hand, arm, whatever 🙂

Using a funky flexible material all the phone gadgetyness could theoretically be attached directly to your skin or clothing.

This prototype includes a touchscreen and a series of pressure-sensitive areas.

The dermal device can stretch up to 20% of its original length without any loss of performance – So you can still perform those yoga moves whilst taking a call from your mum.

The future is nearer than we think 😉
