Nintendo Wii 2 – Most Powerful Console Packing Touchscreen Anologue Controllers
The successor to the Nintendo Wii appears to be shaping up nicely if the word on the street is true.
The Wii2, WiiII or Wii HD – or Project Cafe as it has been temporarily titled – has been tipped for an unveiling at this year’s E3 but what are we to expect from the new Ninty console?
The original Wii broke the mold and ensnared many a casual gamer – even some raunchy ‘adult’ party games – the next edition Wii has a lot to live up to then.
Well, apparently the Wii 2 will be more powerful than the PS3 and Xbox 360!
A source was quoted as saying “The hardware is even more powerful than current HD consoles and backwards compatible with Wii. The controller will be all-new and has a HD screen on it,”
The latest rumblings point to the new Wii rocking dual analog sticks with a touchscreen interface in addition to standard d-pad and trigger buttons.
The 6-inch touch capable screen on the controller will also hand the gamer the ability to stream entire games to the controller screen from the console and use that screen as a “miniature television“.
Even with all the rumours around there has still been no official comment yet on the unveiling or launch of the Nintendo Wii 2
What are you hoping the Nintendo Wii 2 / Project Cafe to have?
