Nike Going to Produce Real Back to the Future Self-Lacing Hightops

Now, where hoverboards can only be seen in galleries it seems that those extra-cool self-lacing Nike hightops could become a reality.

The 2009 patent filed by Nike not only shows the basketball boot featuring the self-lacing system complete with heel button but it appears to have the identical lighting system – yup, your trainers get that cool LED glow 🙂

It’s, frankly, still up in the (Nike) air as to whether this will become a real product or not – would your buy a pair? How much would you pay for these futuristic kicks?
