Next Nexus ditches Android app drawer?

android nexus drawerWith the next Nexus phones around the corner, the new Android operating system is also up for a refresh. Are Google really ditching the app tray?

According to the latest leak it certainly looks as though one of the things I love about stock ‘droid is about to disappear.

The days of our good friend, the app drawer, are numbered it seems.

Just have a look at these gifs!

Oh yeah, this leak also reveals that the home screen has changed too. You see, instead of the usual Google search box there’s now a G for Google tab that pulls out the search box. That’s nicely neat.

What do you think about these updates?

Check out the Android Police site for more images and more leakage.
