New Arcam Solo bar Plus is better for less

arcam solobar speakersThe Arcam Solo Soundbar has been out for around a year now so Arcam have revised their work and produced the Solo Soundbar Plus.

The Solo Soundbar Plus has been refined and upgraded with Arcam’s engineers re-voicing the Solo Soundbar Plus so that the product now delivers ever greater levels of performance.

The Soundbar Plus incorporates rigid materials and quality construction to mitigate resonance distortion.

The Arcam Solo Soundbar Plus will play all current HD audio formats. Its six drive units and 100 watts of amplification promises to provide excellent room-filling sound.

arcam solobar portsThe new Solo Soundbar Plus can be connected to a number of sources via Four CEC enabled 4K pass-through HDMI, coax, optical and 3.5mm line inputs so you can hook up your set-top box or a games console as well as other disc spinners. Further, it can also be used for streaming music from your phone or tablet thanks to apt-X Bluetooth.

As well as that Bluetooth receiver the Solo Soundbar can rebroadcast signals to Bluetooth enabled headphones so that you’re totally wireless.

solo soundbar plusIf you are after more bass then you should check out the Solo sub which is equipped with a 300w amp and downfiring 10-inch woofer.

Its non-slip feet make it easy to mount it on a wall and place on a shelf.

The good news is, if you’ve already got a Solo Soundbar you can get a free upgrade. All of the Plus changes have been made in software and any existing Solo bar can be upgraded, by downloading and installing Firmware V1.19.
