New Apple MacBook Sneaks on Site – Budget Pro

There was news aplenty over the weekend pointing to the imminent arrival of a new Apple MacBook.

The new MacBook slipped on the Apple site without the customary ‘Store Closed’ sticker and sports the expected faster CPU and better battery life.

Price-wise it’s placed well under the similarly specced MacBook Pro.

Looking at the specs on the UK Apple site you are able to grab a new 13 inch MacBook with its plastic unibody loaded with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chip (replacing the 2.26GHz), 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB hard drive.

Graphics get a hand with the Nvidia GeForce 320M graphics card as well as a battery boost from seven hours to ten before your MacBook needs a top-up.

The new £849 MacBook specs are pretty much a match for the 13 inch MacBook Pro. In fact it seems that for the extra £150 you’d spend on going Pro you benefit from 4GB of RAM and an SD card slot – oh, and that sassy aluminium unibody.

You can click buy now and Apple will send it out within 24 hours 🙂
