Napster iPhone / iPad App Lands in Store – iOS Streaming

Ah, back in the day of pirates and grabbing tunes for free, Napster was the go to name.

Obviously those days of teenage rebellion have gone and Napster has grown into a law-abiding adult with a head for commerce.

Napster has just made the leap into joining the Apple army and has a free app available via the iTunes app store.

Yup – free to download but then there’s the small matter of a $10 monthly subscription.

Oh, and you have to live in North America.

So, if neither of those points are a worry, you could be moments away from being able to listen to more than 10 million full-length songs online and saving favourites and playlists to your iThingy or puter.

The App is compatible with any Apple mobile device capable of running iPhone OS 3.0 or later.

Does this mean that Apple isn’t quite ready to bounce out their own streaming service then?
