Metal and plastic Samsung Galaxy Note 4s could have 3-sided screen
Samsung’s follow up to the very well received Galaxy Note 3 could give buyers more choice.
There are fresh rumours doing the circuit that speak of Samsung preparing a dramatic revamp for the Galaxy Note 4.
These whispers claim that there will be two variants of the Galaxy Note 4, one being of a metallic construct whilst the other retains its plastic dressing. Whether or not that plastic will keep the faux-leather textured coat is yet to be seen.
The source also claims that this device will sport a flexible display, though that’s an odd rumor to mate with the claims of a particularly non-bendable metallic and/or plastic chassis being used. Unless…
Could this be Samsung finally using their 3-sided screen patent we saw last year to incorporate an edge display?
The rumour also points to Samsung embracing optical image stabilisation for the first time for the Note 4’s expected 16 megapixel snapper.
Chances are that we’ll know more by the time IFA in Berlin is upon us.
