McIntosh LB100 – one for the fans

micintosh lightbox lifestyleIn the world of Hi-Fi, there are some brands that seem to cultivate an almost fanboy/girl loyalty. One such brand is McIntosh. Now, there is a way for those McFans to fly their flag high.

As I was flicking through Twitter, the McIntosh LB100 Lightbox caught my eye. To start with I was unsure as to whether or not April Fools had come around early.

But, if you’ve got your McIntosh system to how you like it, and have $1500 US burning a hole in your pocket, why not?

It measures 44.45cm x 15.24cm x 29.05cm and weighs in at 12 lbs (5.2 kg). So, is around the same size as the company’s CD player and so will slot seamlessly in to your stack.
