Mac OS X Lion Arriving in UK Tomorrow [July 20]

Word on the street is that Mac OS X Lion will be ready to be fed onto your Apple puter at 1.30pm UK time (8.30am EST) on 20 July.

As this was said to be happening last week and didn’t the revised date has actually been validated by an ‘inside source’ so this is as rock solid as a rumour gets 😉

The original 20 July unleashing date comes via a couple of trusted Apple leakage sources with word that hard drives bearing the Golden Master version of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion actually arrived at Apple’s retail stores on Monday.

To add even more hysteria to the fandom – new MacBook Airs packing Sandy Bridge Intel chips and Thunderbolt technology could very well appear at the same time.

Mac OS X Lion is a download-only release from the Mac App Store so don’t go searching the bricks and mortar retail outlets for it.

It is around 4GB in size and will cost you £20.99 to download.
