LeapFrog Junior Book Pal – For Lazy Parents
If you’d rather have a beer or finish watching that soap opera than read your kids a bedtime story:
- You should have thought about that before breeding
- You need to get yourself a Tag Junior book pal
LeapFrog’s newest Tag reading system is now apparently kid-friendlier.
The Tag Junior pal is built for kids as young as two years old.
The cute little, chunky, cutesy, small-hands-friendly Green and White robot thingy is picked up and held on any page of a Tag Junior book, which it then reads aloud, emitting sound effects and choonz too!
It uses infrared cameras to follow along, and embedded memory to hold the book data.
Tech-savvi parents (that’s why you’re here 😉 ) can also download audio for each book in the Tag Junior library, and manage the MP3s and photo files using a Mac or PC.
The Tag Junior library is planeed to contain such can’t put down reads as Curious George: Color Fun, Disney Pooh Loves To… and Dora the Explorer: 1-2-3 Dora!.
The system will be available in summer – just in time for those late-running BBQ’s 😉
