Leaky LG Nexus 5 smartphone has all but been released

Over the last couple of days the interwebs have become awash with pictures and specs of the next Nexus – so much so, I thought I had better write some of it up and get involved with the rumour-mongering.

The 2015 Nexus 5 is tipped to come with a Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, a 2700mAh battery, 12.3MP rear camera with laser autofocus and a 5.2-inch 1080p screen. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is a given, of course.

The image of the black handset (above) appears to be from internal slides from within the company, revealing it’s codename to be Project N3.

The new Nexus is also said to be equipped with a USB Type-C port.

I’m half expecting Google to subsidise the price to undercut the likes of the OnePlus 2, Honor 7 and  combat the presence being made by Kogan and Huawei.

Of course, a leaky handset is not worth its salt until a case manufacturer gets in on the act.

As you can see it gloriously shows all possible angles just in case we were all missing something.

All this intrigue and guesswork should be put to bed soon as all the rumours will likely become facts on September 29th, when Google is holding a special event.
