kitvision observer hd dash camDash-cams are definitely making their presence felt. Kitvision has just announced their Observer HD dash camera.

Car dash cameras have their uses. You can use them to record an awesome roadtrup or prove your innocence in a collision.

The Kitvision Observer HD Dash Camera is packed full of trustworthy technology that will fight your corner with insurers.

This dash cam makes filming your journey so simple. You don’t even have to worry about switching it on or off. The camera is linked directly to your car’s ignition so has automatic on/off tech.

Its plug and play installation system has been designed with ease of use in mind. Kitvision even throw in some cable clips to help keep the interior of your vehicle neat and tidy.

The Observer HD Dash Camera records video on a continuous loop and will automatically lock and save video files when it detects a collision with its built-in G sensor.

The Observer Dash Camera uses a bright lens to capture high definition video day or night. The company states that it will be clear enough to identify number plates for evidence in an accident.

It has the choice of two resolutions: 720P HD with a smooth 30 frames per second, or a 1080i setting with a frame rate of 15fps.

Stills can be snapped at 12MP. The camera is fitted with a microphone and a 2.4-inch TFT LCD display. The battery is a rechargeable 3.7 V, 200 mAh Li-Pol cell.

I for one am digging its Instamatic looks too!
