iPhone 4 will Take HD Video – It’s There in the Code

Yup – iPhone 4 will be iPhone HD.

In just a few bits of code one of the specs of the next iPhone is pretty much agreed.

According to video capture presets tucked away in the iPhone SDK, 720p recording is in the cards.

These are actually buried deep in the iPhone SDK and, I guess, don’t guarantee HD video capture – but then again there were rumours that iPhone 4 might get called iPhone HD at one point so anything is possible right? Besides any reference to HD video anywhere in the code is significant yeah?

We all know the improved camera will have a flash and 720p has been rumoured quite regularly and there’s already a bunch of HD phones out so why wouldn’t Apple do it?
