Invoxia NVX 610 Should Receive Sexiest VoiP Phone Award
Looking for a desk dock for your iPhone but also want stylish business-like looks? Want a VoIP handset that brings your iPad or iPhone in to play? I think that I’ve just found my ideal office phone thanks to Invoxia and their NVX 610.
From the cool, clean, no nonsense industrial design that Apple fans crave to the integration of their favourite portable devices – the NVX 610 promises to deliver.
The Invoxia NVX 610 is a VoIP desk phone for the iPad and iPhone but it also integrates your iThing’s controls and contacts, bringing your work and personal contacts together in one place.
The unit houses eight speakers and eight microphones that give intelligent stereo imaging to conference calls and work to cancel background noise. Calls are processed using the built-in ARM Cortex-A8 processor, and can be made via Skype or any third-party SIP. You can also take incoming iPhone calls using the handset or speakerphone, but all outgoing calls are processed using VoIP, not your iPhone’s mobile network.
Control-wise you get volume, answering and mute controls (the latter two touch-sensitive) and the phone comes with a choice of coloured magnetic cradle strips to match its surroundings (just in case you don’t have a totally white room).
Like the Apple products it has used as a template, the Invoxia NVX 610 isn’t bargain basement. Prices are US$600 or €417.22 before VAT.
I still would though 🙂
