HTC Thunderbolt 4G dual-Core Phone Coming to O2
It looks like 2011 will be the year of the dual-core mobile!
First it was word of the LG Optimus 2X and now, if all this is true, the HTC Thunderbolt will be flashed at CES very soon.
The Thunderbolt will be HTC’s first dual-core phone and will be packing a 1.2GHz MSM8960 processor under the hood apparently running Android 2.3. It will also be kitted out with a decent pair of cameras – an 8MP rear-facing snapper and a 5MP forward-facing number for video calls and self-portraits.
It doesn’t stop with just impressive cameras and a dual-core processor, oh no. How about it being loaded with a 4.3-inch screen and the ability to shoot and playback 1080p video? Â It is also packing 16GB of internal storage and a kickstand that conceals a little speaker. Â Nice eh?
These leaks supposedly came from a German retailer’s system which suggests that the phone will be stocked by O2, Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone.
The MSM8960 processor isn’t supposedly out til 2012 so either the info is slightly off or the chip has arrived early.
More as I get it 🙂
