HTC One mini 2 released and priced

htc one mini 2Today HTC has announced their smaller version of the HTC One M8, and it looks like the HTC One Mini 2has been priced up too.

According to a Dutch website the HTC One Mini 2 will cost you 462 Euros, this is the unlocked price for the handset without a contract.

The HTC One Mini features all the lovely design touches of its larger stablemate but sports a 4.5-inch HD display that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The One mini 2 comes with 1GB of RAM and features a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and 16GB of built in storage.

If 16GB of storage is not enough for your needs, there is also a microSD card slot which takes up to 128GB cards.

On the front of the HTC One Mini 2 there is a selfie-friendly 5 megapixel camera whilst, on the rear you’ll find a full-sized 13 megapixel camera.

Naturally the One mini 2 runs on Android 4.4 Kit Kat wrapped up in the splendid HTC Sense 6.

“The latest member of the award-winning HTC One family distills the advanced features that have earned it global acclaim, into an elegant, compact handset”, said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. “Its size and tapered edges fit perfectly in a hand, pocket or purse, making it look great and feel even better to use. It’s the perfect choice for those who love the iconic design of the HTC One (M8) yet want something more compact.”

The HTC One mini 2 will be available in EMEA and North Asia in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold from June 2014.

Once I have full UK pricing details I will let you know but I am expecting a SIM free price-tag of something like £250-300.
