HTC Hima M9 specifications and photo leaks
Earlier this month I reported some leaked deets of the next HTC flagship smartphone, the M9. Now, it appears that there’s the code name and perhaps another sneaky shot.
Currently listed as the “HTC Hima”, which I am guessing is its codename, the next leader of the HTC smartphone family will actually be known as the HTC One M9 or at the very least something similar.
The image above was posted by Chinese website Zol – so I can’t give it my blessing as being 100% legit, but it certainly looks the part. I for one would certainly have no problem with upgrading my HTC One (M7) to it, judging by looks alone.
But I have more than a nice looking picture for you my Gadgety faithful.
Assuming that the information in this little chart is accurate, the new high-end model identified under the reference HTC6535LVW is equipped with a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080px, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor S810 with eight cores clocked at 2GHz.
Along with all of that the M9 will also pack 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 430 graphics chip, a main digital camera rated at 20.7 megapixels paired with a 13MP selfie shooter.
The new HTC smartphone would land running Android Lillipop 5.0.1 out of the box no doubt coated with the lovely Sense 7.0 user interface.
HTC is expected to make an official announcement next week at CES.
