HTC EVO 3D Mobile Phone Arriving this Summer?

It seems that HTC are speeding along with their plans for a 3D smartphone thanks to a leaked document which shows that there could well be a 3D version of the HTC EVO appearing very soon.

Those leaked docs all point towards a decent spec as well as bringing that extra dimension to the HTC EVO. Boy Genius Report notes that:

“We’re talking about a 4.3-inch?qHD 960×450-pixel, Autostereoscopic 3D display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB ROM, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU, dual rear 5-megapixel cameras with dedicated camera button, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and 1730mAh battery,”

BGR also points out that the 3D blower will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be able to squirt out 1080p video to your goggle box thanks to HDMI as well as managing 720p 3D output too!

It sounds like the HTC EVO 3D will be a Sprint exclusive over in the US of A but there are rumblings that suggest we in the UK will be getting some 3D handset or other courtesy of HTC – not neccisarily the EVO. Could this mean that HTC will be unveiling more than one multi-dimensional mobile this year at CTIA?

Stay tuned for more info as I get it 🙂
