HTC ChaCha and Salsa will be Dancing in UK by June

Gagging to get your social chat on with HTC’s latest handsets?

Well, the HTC ChaCha and Salsa Facebook phone’s have been given their UK release date.

Expansys has both Facebook Android powered mobiles listed with a shipping date of 17 June for the ChaCha and Salsa – and you can pre-order now!

It might be a bit of a gamble mind as there’s no hint of a price. Would you put your name down for something not knowing how much it will cost? Yes, you would? Oooo get you Mr Rockerfella! 😛

June 17th (the day after my birthday bu-the-way) matches with the rumblings from network operators so that seems kosher.

Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange have already confirmed that they’ll be dancing the ChaCha although none seem to be mentioning their love of Salsa. Perhaps Salsa is heading to other players such as Three and O2.

To be honest, as they’re are aimed at updating your Facebook and the rest the ChaCha might be the better of the pair. Not only is it running Android 2.4 Gingerbread, a 2.6-inch screen and the neat Facebook button that shares what you’re listening to, looking at, etc at a single press – it has a full QWERTY board.

Which one would you go for? The touchscreen Salsa (which is also armed with a Facebook button and Gingerbread) or the button-loving ChaCha?
