HP x2301 Micro Thin Monitor Looks Good and Cheaper Than You’d Think

HP has released some new Pavillion desktop puters but you know what – they’re nice enough but difficult to get all hot and bothered about. Now, these supermodel monitors on the other hand….

The main display in question is the 23-inch HP x2301 Micro Thin LED-backlit monitor.

This beauty is a full 1080p display that only measures 9.8mm (0.39-inches) thick!

To get that skinny most of the bulky, important bits have been shoved into the stylish blue-tinted base which also houses the DVI and HDMI ports.

The display has a respectable 3ms response time and a 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio – so that should keep most people happy.

The price is pretty good too – The x2301 will cost a reasonable $280 when unleashed on June 10th.

The Elite L2201x is slightly more prone to pie-eating but comes in cheaper. The LED-backlit display, measures a still lovely 0.4-inches thick. It packs in a 1920 x 1080 display with 5000:1 contrast ratio and a DisplayPort. All that sexiness for a mere $250 from June 1st.
