GScreen Spacebook 17 Released – Hands You Portable Dual Screen Computing

Back in 2009 the GScreen Spacebook dual screen laptop seemed but a dream – Now the SpaceBook 17 is really real and ready to buy!

The GScreen Spacebook comes packing a pair of 17in HD screens which tastily slide out from the laptop’s magnesium alloy frame. Nice.

Along with those screens the Spacebook 17 is rockin an Intel i7 Quad Core at 1.73GHz, 8GB RAM as well as a 1GB Nvidia GeForce graphics processor. Bosh!

This means that gamers, photoshoppers and all those other power users will be able to work and play easier.

You have probably guessed that this is in no way classed as an ultraportable – this beast weighs 4.5KG and I’d dare say that you’d need to be near a power supply as those screens are gonna suck up that battery juice faster than a really thirsty thing.

You’d also be correct in thinking that the price of having the bragging rights of a dual-screened lappy aint gonna be cheap. Think two screens, think two laptops (more-or-less) – The asking price is $2099 so I dread to think what it will cost once it heads over to the UK and picks up the usual Brit Tech Tax! 🙁

If you fancy it (and live in the US) then slap down your $795 deposit here 🙂
