Google Nexus 9 tablet gets UK price cut
We have already seen the price of Google’s Nexus 6 smartphone come down here in the UK and now the price cutting has hit the Google Nexus 9 tablet.
The 8.9-inch screened tablet is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera and runs on Android Lollipop (5.0). The HTC cobbled slate is powered along by the very capable 64-bit, 2.3 GHz, NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor.
For £200 you get the 16GB Nexus 9 tablet with WiFi only, Amazon is also listing the 32GB version with a price drop of £100 which makes this model £299. It would appear that the cost of the 4G-packing variant is staying the same price as before.
Saying that though, Google hasn’t dropped the price of their Nexus 9 tablet on the Google Store yet, although I suspect this may happen shortly. Then again, given that Google has not lead, or even mirrored the price change, this could point at this being more of a deal limited by time or until the allotted stock runs out.
So, in other words, you’re better off getting on this quickly if you’re wanting to grab HTC’s first Nexus tablet for bargain money.
