Fujitsu Lifebook 2013 could be the Ultimate Convergence Device
Convergence – some say it’s killing markets (pocket camcorders and compact digital cameras having to fight mobile phones for market share, for instance) but Fujitsu wants to take it further than the Transformer Prime and Padfone with their Lifebook 2013.
The Fujitsu Lifebook 2013 would offer you a 4-in-1 device deal that’s difficult not to lust after.
When everything is housed it appears like a regular laptop but you can slip out the full-sized touchscreen keyboard which becomes a tablet.
Around the back of the laptop you’ll find camera – that’s detaches for when you want to get snappy out-and-about.
Last, but not least, is a clever little slot in the bottom of the machine where you can shove your mobile phone to sync contents between the laptop and your blower without wires.
If you’re counting – the 4 in this 4-in-1 is the converged laptop device.
The amazing thing is that each part of this gadgety jigsaw is equipped with its own CPU. When they are docked the processing duties are shared out amongst all the elements which, in theory, should mean that they’d all be rocking the same operating system.
It’s fair to guess that, should the Lifebook 2013 concept go in to production, it will be an Android powered bundle of tech joy.
Is it wrong to be looking forward to next year already? 😉
