Fi Station tablet-based recording / editing studio

fi station topAs a gigging musician hoping to be on the road again soon, recording ideas on the go isn’t always easy. Now, Fly Imagine (Fi) has just introduced the Fi Station. This boasts to be the first all-in-one low-cost portable music, video, and entertainment center. It will also record and mix music and 4K HD video.

Looking not unlike a Lenovo Tab 3, the Fi will not only record and mix audio and video it can, of course, be used to play back your movies and albums and even become a mini karaoke and DJ centre.

Pre-installed Fi App

The pre-installed app plays nice with Android, iOS, Mac and PC apps and software. So this will fit in with any set-up you already have.

Whether you want to record or play music, DJ a party, play 4K HD quality video, watch a HD movie or perform karaoke, Fi Station can handle any request with ease.

fi station inputs and outputsFay Wong, Founder & CTO, Fihifi explains:

Sometimes you find yourself needing to buy several products to meet your different needs – you might need a professional sound card to record, a Hi-Fi player to listen back to lossless audio, and a separate TV box to play HD videos. And even after you’ve bought all of these separate products, you’ll find that very few of them are compatible with each other… That’s why we created the Fi Station – an easy-to-use product that can be used in different scenarios, with high quality input and output capabilities, neatly wrapped up in a stylish design.”

This is one of those things that I hope really works as well as promised. I can think of loads of my friends who would love one of these.
