Female Worker Nudie-Scanned at Heathrow and Left Traumatised

It’s been a while since I’ve written about the nudie-scanners that airports are employing in their fight against terrorism. But this has popped up on my radar.

It appears that an employee at Heathrow airport has been slapped with a harassment warning by police officers after he gawped at one of his female coworkers when she ‘accidentally’ walked through a full-body scanner -perfectly natural really but apparently that’s considered “misuse” of the scanners. I thought that they were safe and not invading anyone’s privacy?

I suppose the question is whether the bloke accidentally took a scan out of habit (I’m guessing that’s his job) or was laying in wait for a lady to walk through.

Either way it seems that the woman isn’t pleased as she stated that “I can’t bear to think about the body scanner thing. I’m totally traumatised. I’ve spoken to the police about it. I’m in too much of a state to go to work.”

But it’s ok for passengers eh? 😉

You just know that the airport Christmas parties are going to use Rapiscan machines and not photocopiers don’t you?

What’s your opinion?
