Facebook Phone or Facebook Voice Chat?

Facebook has sent out invites to their special event that they’re throwing this Wednesday, 3 November.

The Facebook event is listed as a mobile event, which is getting the interweblogosphre giddy as more people expect a Facebook phone to be revealed.

Call me a skeptic but, unless they’re re-badging an INQ handset it may be a bit too quick of a turn-around from the first whispers to a release party.

I’m erring on the side of a Places update with badges, perhaps some more Skype integration/live chat via the Facebook messenger, and an official iPad app.
