Facebook Listen with Friends – Discover new Music while your Friend DJs
Facebook is putting the work in since buddying up Spotify last year. The big blue social network is now introducing their new feature, Listen With Friends, which lets you evesdrop on what your friends are grooving to.
Listen With Friends (not an updated version of Listen with Mother – unless she’s on Facebook) is a new addition to Facebook that not only allows you to see what your buddies are listening to but, at the click of a button, actually lets you hear the track they’re rockin their room to.
Look for the music note in the chat sidebar to see which of your friends are listening to music. To listen with a friend, hover over their name, and click the Listen With button. The music will play through the service your friend is using.
So, see the little note in the chat bar, click it and let your friend DJ for you. Get a few of you joining in and Facebook will automatically set it up for a group chat.
We all have our guilty pleasures and if you’d rather keep your JLS addiction a secret then there are ways of hiding what you’re listening to. Phwew!
