The EH-LS100 stands apart from standard throw models as it’s easy to set up close to the display area. It also has the additional benefit of packing a long-lasting laser light source.

Epson says that “anyone can get this Full HD projector up and running with minimal effort.”

Accessing content will be straightforward thanks to three HDMI inputs (including one MHL). So, plugging in your Blu-ray player, games consoles and such like should be simple. All these will be projected in Full HD (WUXGA native resolution).

This versatile model is also simple to control; over a home network using the RJ45 connection or with Wi-Fi connectivity via the optional adapter ELPAP10.

With both options, it’s easy to control the projector using a smart device via the iProjection app.

Bright and dark

Even where there’s ambient light, you will still get vivid and lifelike images thanks to 3LCD technology. The equally high White and Colour Light Output (CLO) of 4,000 lumens will also help.

It also includes a five year warranty for total peace of mind.

Paul White, product manager, said:

We’re really excited to launch this fantastic new product into our range. It answers a common problem – how can I enjoy the big screen experience without it affecting the look of my home? There’s no getting away from a huge, black TV screen, but a projected display can disappear at the touch of a button. With the EH-LS100 you don’t have to worry about installation issues as it can be positioned just 6cm away from the display surface. It’s also far more flexible than a TV as the display can go from 70 to 130 inches. This type of flexibility is great for changing the scale to reflect what you’re watching.”

Price and availability

The EH-LS100 is available from November 2017, priced at £2,599.99.
