ASUS Transformer Prime Keyboard Docking Quad Core Tablet Details and Video

As I mentioned in the news that the ASUS Eee Pad Slider will be in UK stores this week – if you want a pure tablet experience but with the option for a keyboard dock the the Asus EeePad Transformer would be a good option. It’s fairly speedy, packs a great screen and there’s that keyboard attachement – but there’s better around the corner. The Transformer Prime!

Asus has just unveiled the Asus Transformer Prime which is a 8.3mm thin tablet with keyboard attachment but just check out the spec list:

The Transformer Prime will come loaded with a mighty Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 10-inch display, mini-HDMI port and an incredible 14.5 hour battery life.

That 8.3mm thin waistline, I’m guessing, will be without the dock but it’s still impressive as is the Transformer Prime’s brushed aluminium styling – this will no doubt give the look and feel of a true premium product.

The impressiveness doesn’t end with that quad-core processor – the Transformer Prime with be running Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich straight out of the box. This could possibly make it the first Ice Cream Sandwich tablet.
