Asus T91 Touchscreen Tablet Eludes Me No More!
This seems tp have sneaked below my radar somehow.
Asus’s first Netbook Tablet PC, the EEE PCT T91 is also the first portable member of the every growing Eee Family to come with a touchscreen.
The 8.9-inch touchscreen tablet weighs under 1Kg, can work for up to 5 hours on a single charge and it’s said that you can expect it to be packing the usual Intel Atom CPU with 1GB RAM and a 16GB SSD drive.
You can use it as a trad laptop but with a twist of the screen it becomes a table PC.
According to Asus the T91 also comes with HSUPA connectivity, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth plus Built-in GPS (8.9 inch SatNav anyone?) and a built-in TV and FM Tuner.
Sounds sweet to me!Â
It apparently came second place in the CeBIT Preview awards behind that Eee PC keyboard.
The T91 comes with a collection of touch-optimised software called Touchsuite that includs a customised IE Toolbar, Fotofun (which allows photos to be finger-flicked and edited easily), Memos and 3Doorway.
How did I miss all of that?
Well, I hope that this helps you forgive me 🙂
