Appsify.me makes creating iOS apps as easy as starting a WordPress blog
If you’ve fancied making your own iOS app for your website, band or business, or perhaps you’ve an idea that could potentially make you rich but don’t know how to code – you need to check out Appsify.me.
Appsify.me will allow any developer to create a functional, native iPhone app easily and swiftly with little effort.
Best of all, you don’t need to be a hard core coder or hire the skills of one who will charge you plenty-many pounds per hour.
Hailed as the WordPress of iOS apps, Appsify.me uses an intuitive CMS-like system to make app development accessible to beginners.
You can even give it a whirl to see just how easy it is to use. Just hop over to demo.appsify.me.
Anyone that has used WordPress, or similar, will easily be able to find their way around the menus.
The sidebar on the left is where all your options for instant app creation live. App menus can be quickly put together, graphics can be applied and you can view stats for installs and downloads.
The minor drawback is that Appsify.me is far from cheap – costing $299 (circa £195) for each app you make. Saying that, it’s still cheaper than getting a freelance app maker to do your bidding. Also, once you’ve created your app, you can go back in and make changes to your heart’s desire for no extra cost.
The project was masterminded by former Shopping.com employee Jerome Collomb and Leonardo Apiwan, a mobile web developer. Collomb told The Next Web that he wanted to find “a way to take the pain out of the development process while also making it easy to build and configure the apps”
After releasing the platform to the public today, it has already accrued more than 600 users.
The company does say that it is on the lookout for potential investors.
