Wi-Fi Media Remote – SR1500

by Jay Garrett on January 30, 2008

TV Compass RemoteYou probably won’t be seeing TVcompass’s SR 1500 released looking exactly like this and it probably wont have that name either as it is a “white label design” for the moment.

This WiFi-enabled unit has a QVGA display and runs on Windows CE.

The SR 1500 pulls device codes from the web using the built-in browser, which supports Flash and J2ME by-the-way!.  It will backup your settings to a server and is able to do custom guide displays.

Obviously there’s no pricing yet – we just have to wait for someone to buy the design and market it.

Soon please!
