You may or may not have heard about the Viliv S5.
It’s a Windows XP based MID (Mobile Internet Device) and will be ready for pre-order on the 24th February with shipping starting on the 3rd March in Korea .
Even folks in Europe and the States will get a version.
This $649 (505 Euros) iteration will be packing a 4.8-inch touchscreen, a 60GB hard disk, Intel Silverthorne-class 1.33GHz Z520 CPU (that’s the same processor as the VAIO P), GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 1GB of memory.
The lesser spec’d models and the big daddy F-LOG version with DMB television tuner will be Korea only.
The cool thing about an MID running XP is the fact that you can pretty much install any application you want, including iTunes (check the vid below).
I’m tempted………

Im tempted as well, you could say its like having an iPhone with Windows on it. While that image may be slightly disturbing to some, if it means having any windows app running then I think its worth a shot.
