wiimote-induction-chargerAt last.

Energizer’s Wiimote Induction Charging System is a god-send if, when you play – you play safe ;)

What I mean is; if you’re the type of person that values their friends, pets and the decor and utilise the rubber sleeves and wrist straps on your Wiimote then you know what a pain it is to recharge your controllers.

Well, thanks to Energizer you can charge them without removing that extra stuff.

All you have to do is chuck the Wiimotes on a stand and let the charger go to work.

It will be in stores in May for $50.

Acer Hornet Breaks Cover For April Release

by Jay G on April 1, 2009

2009-03-31hornet-1Engadget have received a bundle of information about that Acer Hornet which I mentioned on the old site a while ago.

The Atom powered Nettop HTPC (Home Theatre PC) is well priced and not badly spec’d if all this is true and not some cruel April Fools prank – but the bundle that the Engadgeteers received included a 20 page book.

The Acer Hornet features 1080p video output via HDMI and is based on NVIDIA’s Ion platform.

There would be three Acer Hornet models with the top one featuring 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Wi-Fi, and Wiimote style controller.

Digitimes reports that Acer will announced the Hornet in Beijing, China on April 8th for a sub $299 price.

Let’s hope that this is all true :)
