USB flash drive

Whether you have the 8GB iPhone or rocking the 32GB version I’m a firm believer that you can never have too much storage space on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

I reckon the lovely, thoughtful folk that bring the wonderment of AirStash think the same.

AirStash, as you can see in the pic, looks like a USB drive.

Apparently all you have to do is charge it up, sling whatever you want to keep on the AirStash’s SDcard and then pocket the stash.

By some wizardry it will hook-up to your touchscreened Apple device or even that of your friends all without wires!

I’m hoping that this thing’s password protected or something – but security is but a minor niggle for increasing your portable memory and sharing endless holiday snaps.

The Airstash site promises that all things will become clear at CES :)

Star TrekWe like Sci-Fi don’t we? So when there’s a gadgety release of two of this years Sci-Fi hits it needs to be written about.

The two flicks in question are Star Trek and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Paramount Digital Entertainment is releasing 20,000 of each movie on a 4GB USB drive (leaving around 3GB free space) with each one getting its own identification number.

The USB’s come in fancy tins with a one-off print. If you opt for the robot and Megan Fox fun of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen you get it on a limited edition Autobot device while Star Trek fans get a limited edition Starfleet Insignia USB.

You’ll be able to play the films via the drive on any DivX certified device – if you want to play it on your favourite disc spinner then you are allowed to burn the movie onto DVD.

Priced at £17.99 each, Star Trek is available to buy now from Play.com and the Transformers USB will go on sale from 30 November.
